Connect Gmail or Outlook, and Google Calendar
Link your mailbox and calendar so LeadLex can match email and meetings to your clients, and learn the other ways to get email into your CRM.

Connecting your mailbox is the step that makes the rest of LeadLex useful. Once it is on, LeadLex can link your emails and meetings to the right contacts, companies and deals without you logging anything by hand.
Each person connects their own mailbox. A workspace admin can see the team's mailboxes under Team mailboxes, but nobody else's email is connected for them.
Connect your account
- Open Settings and choose Email & Calendar.
- Under Connected Accounts, choose Connect Google for Gmail and Google Calendar, or Connect Microsoft for Outlook and Microsoft calendar.
- Sign in to Google or Microsoft and approve the access LeadLex asks for.
- You return to Email & Calendar with the account showing Connected.
LeadLex asks to read your email messages, read and write calendar events, and read your contacts. You can switch each of the three off again after connecting.
If you connected during setup with Connect Google Workspace or Connect Microsoft 365, the account is already here.
Choose what to sync
Select the account to expand it. It has three switches.
| Switch | What it does |
|---|---|
| Syncs your emails so you see correspondence history on each contact. Turning it on starts a sync of the last 90 days. | |
| Calendar | Two-way sync of calendar events. Meetings link to contacts and deals. |
| Contacts | Lets you import contacts from the account with Import contacts. |
Under each switch you see when it last synced, and a Sync now button if you do not want to wait for the next run. If a sync fails, the red Sync error link shows the reason.
Connect a second account
Choose Add another Google account or Add another Microsoft account under the first one. With two or more accounts connected, a Default account card appears so you can choose which one LeadLex uses by default.
If the connection expires
Sometimes Google or Microsoft ends the session. The account then shows Reconnect Required. Choose Reconnect Google or Reconnect Microsoft and approve access again. Your data stays where it is.
To stop syncing completely, expand the account and choose Disconnect. You can reconnect at any time. Disconnecting removes the connection and its sync switches. Emails already synced stay in LeadLex, and no new ones arrive.
Other ways to get email into LeadLex
The Email Lexi card on the same page gives your workspace one address at lexi.leadlex.com. A workspace admin sets the part before the @ with the pencil button.
- Forward an email to it and Lexi creates contacts, deals and tasks from what it finds.
- BCC it on any email and the message is logged on the CRM timeline.
- Email it directly to ask a question or request an action.
Only team members with registered email addresses can write to it. Mail from anyone else is rejected.
Calendar in Apple Calendar or Outlook Desktop
If you prefer to see meetings in a desktop calendar, the Subscribe in Apple Calendar or Outlook card shows a subscription link. Choose Copy, then paste it into your calendar app. Regenerate creates a new link and the old one stops working at once.
Block senders you do not want logged
The Blocked Senders card on the same page keeps newsletters and automated mail out of LeadLex. Type an address and choose Block. Emails from blocked senders are not synced. You can also block a sender from the email menu in your inbox.
What happens next
LeadLex starts matching. Emails and meetings with people already in your CRM appear on their records. To add people you already write to, go to Settings → Email & Calendar, expand the connected account, choose Configure and then Import contacts.
