Import contacts from Gmail or Outlook into LeadLex
Bring the people you already write to into LeadLex from your connected Gmail or Outlook account with Import contacts.
Last updated
You import contacts from your mailbox under Settings → Email & Calendar: expand the connected account, choose Configure, then Import contacts. Connect the account first, and make sure its Contacts switch is on.
- Open Settings and choose Email & Calendar.
- Expand the connected Google or Microsoft account.
- Choose Configure.
- Choose Import contacts. Your Contacts lists your address book, and Discover More finds people you have emailed, with a Min emails filter.
- Tick the people you want, optionally pick a list, and choose Import.
Importing contacts is separate from syncing email. Syncing email attaches messages to people already in your CRM. Importing adds the people themselves.
Which route to use
| You have | Use |
|---|---|
| A connected Gmail or Outlook account | Import contacts on the account |
| A spreadsheet from another tool | Network → Add Contact → Import CSV |
| A HubSpot account | The HubSpot connector |
For the spreadsheet route, see Import contacts and companies from CSV or HubSpot.
After the import
Anyone already in LeadLex with the same email address is skipped. Imported contacts get the tag Email Import.
What happens next
Connect your mailbox first if you have not: Connect Gmail or Connect Microsoft Outlook.
