Export your data to CSV
Download your contacts, companies, deals, tasks, meetings and notes from LeadLex as CSV files, and what an export does and does not include.
Last updated
Workspace admins export data from Settings → API & Data → Import & Export, where each record type has its own Download CSV button. You can export contacts, companies, deals, tasks, meetings and notes, and each export contains every record of that type, with no row limit.
Export is switched off during the 7 day trial. Members cannot open API & Data. If you need an export, ask an admin on your team.
Download a CSV
- Open Settings and choose API & Data.
- Scroll to Import & Export, then to Export Data.
- Find the row you want: Contacts, Companies, Deals, Tasks, Meetings or Notes. Each row shows how many records it holds.
- Choose Download CSV.
The file is named after the record type and the date, for example leadlex-contacts-2026-10-23.csv. It is UTF-8 encoded, so names with accents open correctly in Excel and Google Sheets.
What an export includes
- Every record of that type in your workspace. Large workspaces take a little longer.
- A fixed set of columns for each type. The notes export, for example, has title, content, category, interaction type, tags and created date.
- Contacts merged into another contact are left out, so a merged duplicate does not come back.
Cells that start with =, +, - or @ get a leading apostrophe. This stops a spreadsheet from running them as formulas.
What an export does not include
The CSV exports do not contain emails, the activity timeline, campaigns, lists, LinkedIn messages, Lexi conversations or attachments. LeadLex has no one-click export of the whole workspace.
If you need more than the CSV files, for example when your firm leaves LeadLex, write to lexi@leadlex.com. Under the data processing agreement your firm can ask for its data to be returned or deleted.
Export selected companies from Network
Any member can export a selection of companies.
- Open Network and select the Companies tab.
- Select the companies you want.
- Choose Export in the bar that appears.
This file has the columns Name, Industry, City, Country, Domain, Priority, Pipeline (EUR), People and Deals.
Every export is recorded in the Activity Log under Security & Privacy, so admins can see who exported what.
What happens next
To bring data the other way, see Import contacts and companies from CSV or HubSpot.
