LeadLex API rate limits and MCP limits
How many calls an API key can make a day, how fast an AI assistant can call LeadLex over MCP, and which plans include it.
Last updated
An API key is limited to 500 calls a day. The MCP connection that lets Claude or ChatGPT work with LeadLex allows 60 calls a minute, and it is included on every plan.
| Limit | Where it applies | |
|---|---|---|
| API key | 500 calls a day | Each key |
| MCP connection | 60 calls a minute | Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants |
What to do when you hit a limit
- API key. Space the calls across the day, or batch the work into fewer calls.
- MCP. Wait a minute. A long request that makes many small calls reaches 60 faster than one broad question.
Who sets these up
Only workspace admins create API keys. See Create an API key. To connect an AI assistant, see Connect Claude or ChatGPT to LeadLex.
Credits are separate
These limits count calls. Credits count AI work. A call that triggers an AI action also uses credits. See Credits: what costs what.
