Lexi prompt tips with example prompts
Seven habits that make Lexi's answers sharper, with example prompts for lookups, drafts, follow ups and research.

Lexi works best when you name the record and say what you want back. Ask in plain language, the way you would brief a colleague.
Seven habits
- Open Lexi on the record. Use Ask Lexi on a contact, company, deal, meeting or task. Lexi then already knows which one you mean.
- Name people and companies in full. "Maria Weber at Nordlicht GmbH" finds the right record faster than "Maria".
- Say what you want back. A list, a three line summary, a draft email.
- Give a time frame. "In the last 30 days" or "this quarter".
- Ask for a draft, then edit it. Lexi writes from your history with the person. Check names, dates and amounts before you send.
- One job at a time. Several small requests beat one long one.
- Say when you want more depth. Deep research is opt in for each question. In the app, switch on Deep research in the composer's capabilities menu. In chat apps, say "deep research". It costs more credits.
Prompts to copy
- "Run a pipeline health check."
- "What is open with Nordlicht GmbH?"
- "Draft a follow up to Maria Weber after our call on Tuesday."
- "Which deals have had no activity for 30 days?"
- "Add a task to call Jonas Falk on Friday."
- "Who have I not spoken to this quarter?"
When the answer is off
Add what was missing instead of starting again. Say "I meant the Munich office" or "Only deals past Proposal".
