Invite IP clients to an annual portfolio review
Three emails inviting existing clients, the last one a no meeting fallback to a portfolio review. The review is an hour on upcoming renewals, open oppositions and next year's filing plans. It is useful to the client on its own terms, and it is where cross-selling in an IP firm usually starts.

A short copy and paste job in the app.
- Put the clients on a list first. In Network, open the filters, set Client status to Active client, and add the people to a list. Contacts with no client status set will not appear, so check the result.
- Open Campaigns and choose New Campaign. Campaigns is marked Beta in the sidebar.
- Choose Start from scratch. LeadLex creates a draft campaign.
- Create one email step per email below, using Add step for each new one. Paste the subject into Subject line and the text into the body, and set Wait before sending to the number of days shown.
- Replace every word in square brackets with your own detail. Leave the merge fields in double braces as they are; they fill in per contact.
- Add the contacts from your list. On the list, select the contacts, choose Email, then pick your campaign in Add Contacts to Campaign.
- Read each email once more, then choose Start Sending. Emails go out from your connected mailbox, and anyone who replies leaves the sequence.

About this template.
Clients with live rights or matters, addressed to the person who owns the portfolio on their side, usually the head of IP or the general counsel. Send it from the partner who holds the relationship.
Yes. A real reply from the contact ends the sequence for them, so a client who answers the first email does not get the second. Automatic out-of-office messages do not.
Not yet. Copy each email from this page into a new campaign and follow the steps.
