# What Lexi cannot do today

> The things Lexi does not do today, from phone reveals in chat to register alerts and conflict clearance, so you can plan around them.

These are the limits that matter today.

## Lexi cannot

- **Reveal phone numbers in chat.** Phone reveals cost 10 credits and run from the Prospector page. See [Unlock emails and phone numbers](/help/business-development/unlock-emails-and-phone-numbers).
- **Clear a conflict of interest for you.** The Conflict Check skill searches the contacts, companies and deals in your own workspace and returns matches. It does not query outside databases. The decision stays with your firm.
- **Send you register alerts.** Saved register searches do not send alerts today. Run the search again to check for new filings.
- **Write register results onto a record for you.** Lexi can search the registers and then offer a next step, such as logging a deal.
- **Search the USPTO.** It is not connected yet. See [Find prospects with registers](/help/business-development/find-prospects-with-registers).
- **Hide records.** The **Private** label on a contact or list does not restrict who sees it. See [What the Private label does](/help/account/private-contacts-and-lists).
- **Guarantee its answers are right.** Lexi can make mistakes, so check names, dates and amounts.
- **Answer at zero credits.** Lexi chat stops when the workspace balance reaches 0.

## Two limits that are not Lexi's

- **There is no read-only role.** Everyone is a Member or an Admin. See [Roles and permissions](/help/account/roles-and-permissions).
- **Deal stage rules are not enforced.** The setting "Block stage progression until clear" is saved but does not stop a deal from moving.
