# Connect Telegram to LeadLex and chat with Lexi

> Link your Telegram account with a one time secure link, the commands the Lexi bot understands and how to disconnect. Telegram is in beta.

Choose **Connect with Telegram**, then tap **Start** in Telegram. Telegram is in Beta for LeadLex, which means it works and we are still improving it. Each person links their own account, and no admin is needed. Lexi answers questions about contacts, deals, tasks and meetings.

## Connect Telegram

1. Open **Settings → Integrations** and select **Telegram**.
2. Choose **Connect with Telegram**. LeadLex makes a secure link that works once and expires after 10 minutes.
3. Telegram opens a chat with @Lexi_by_leadlex_bot. Tap **Start**.

You are linked straight away.

## Use it

Message Lexi in plain language, or use the **/ask** command, for example "/ask top deals this month". Send **/help** to see the available commands.

## If the link does not work

Links are single use and expire after 10 minutes. Go back to **Settings → Integrations** and choose **Connect with Telegram** again for a fresh one.

## Disconnect

Choose **Disconnect Telegram** on the card.

## What happens next

Telegram does not ask about notifications after connecting, so choose them under **Settings → Notifications**. For prompts that work well, see [Lexi prompt tips](/help/lexi-and-channels/lexi-prompt-tips).
