LeadLex has an MCP server. MCP is a standard that lets an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT use another product's data and actions. Once you connect it, you can type "What's in my pipeline?" in your assistant and get an answer from your own LeadLex workspace.

The assistant signs in with your LeadLex account, and it can only see what you can see in LeadLex. Every request is scoped to your workspace.

The server address is:

```
https://mcp.leadlex.com/mcp
```

Use it exactly as shown, including `/mcp`.

## Connect Claude on the web

1. In Claude, go to **Customize → Connectors** and choose **+ Add**. On Team and Enterprise plans, an organization Owner adds the connector first under **Organization settings → Connectors**, and members then choose **Connect**.
2. Choose **Add custom connector**.
3. Paste the server address and confirm.
4. A LeadLex window opens. Sign in if asked and choose **Authorize**.

## Connect Claude Desktop

1. Open Claude Desktop, then **Settings → Connectors**.
2. Choose **Add custom connector** and paste the server address, then choose **Add**.
3. A browser tab opens. Sign in to LeadLex and choose **Authorize**.
4. The LeadLex tools show up in Claude. Try "Search my contacts for Sarah".

## Connect ChatGPT

Custom MCP servers work on ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Edu, on the web. On Business, only workspace admins and owners can add one.

1. In ChatGPT, go to **Plugins**, select the plus button and choose **Add custom MCP server**.
2. Enter `LeadLex` as the name and paste the address above under **Connection**. Choose OAuth for authentication, tick **I understand and want to continue** and select **Create as a plugin**.
3. Authorize through the LeadLex sign-in window.

## Connect Cursor, Codex or another client

Clients that read a JSON config take this entry:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "leadlex": { "url": "https://mcp.leadlex.com/mcp" }
  }
}
```

For Codex, add the server to `~/.codex/config.toml`, then run `codex mcp login leadlex`:

```toml
[mcp_servers.leadlex]
url = "https://mcp.leadlex.com/mcp"
```

Setup copy buttons for all of these are in **Settings → API & Data**, which is visible to workspace admins. Other members can still connect an assistant by following the steps above with their own login.

## What you can ask

The assistant works with contacts, companies, deals, tasks, meetings, notes, lists, campaigns, emails and reports. A few examples:

- "Create a task to call Anna Mueller tomorrow."
- "What's in my pipeline?"
- "Move the Roche deal to negotiation."
- "Draft a follow-up email" or "Prepare for my next meeting", which are also offered as quick prompts in the connector.

## Sending email stays switched off

By default an assistant can draft campaigns and add contacts, but it cannot start sending. A workspace admin can allow that with **Allow AI assistants to send outbound** in **Settings → API & Data**. Leave it off unless you want assistants to be able to start campaigns.

## See and revoke connections

In **Settings → API & Data**, **Connected AI assistants** lists each connected assistant with when it connected, when it was last used and its permissions. Revoke a connection there and the assistant is signed out immediately.
